Polished Metals is a B2B company known throughout the world for their best-in-class metal polishing service. Their expansive inventory of metal types, the quality and consistency of their finishes, and the level of customer service from order to delivery is unsurpassed in the industry.

Challenge: Polished Metals had a non-existent brand and a platform. We were tasked to create a new platform that better represented their brand and a user experience that was tailored to their target market while also being a lead generation tool for their team.
Process: Our team began with a Discovery session with Polished Metal’s stakeholders. In this session, we established their team’s primary objectives and roadmap of their future, their target market, and insight into their industry and competitors.
After the Discovery Session, we began our primary research into the client and their competitors. Through this process, our team crafted Polished Metal’s Strategy Guide + Roadmap.
Our research encompassed:
Understanding the user goals and needs
Uncovering the competitor’s user experience and pain points
Determining the success of the tasks measured
Interview with website users to discover their pain points and ideal user journey
After finalizing Polished Metal’s digital strategy, we began working on establishing the new visual direction for Polished Metals through the creation of Stylescapes.
Once the stylescape were finalized our team began to create wireframes to determine the overall structure and layout of the website based on our research conducted within the Brand Strategy Guide + Roadmap.
Now that our team had finalized the wireframes, we combined our Stylescape and wireframes to create our finalized mockup.
